![]() ![]() ![]() I'd love to see more Star Trek from this creative team. The cameos from pre-existing characters didn't feel forced either, they didn't detract at all from the story being told. They took some inspiration from TNG's "The Last Outpost" (1x5) and a plot point from DS9's "The Passenger" (1x9). What's interesting to me is that the episodes they pulled from aren't very good. It brings back some elements from past episodes while telling it's own original, compelling story. So you get both a view from the bridge and from the lower decks. ![]() They did something interesting with the storytelling, where the player switches almost seamlessly between the ship's first officer and an engineering non-commissioned officer. Overall presentation emulates classic Star Trek. Choices feel impactful and thought-provoking. An engaging storyline with well-written characters. Star Trek: Resurgence is available at: Epic Games. It's probably a good time even if you're not. In this game, players will be part of the crew of the space cruise ship USS Resurgence tasked with exploring the galaxy and completing the various missions. It's a non-episodic dialogue-driven game set. I just finished the game, and I cannot recommend it highly enough if you're a Star Trek fan.
